Leopoldina raw cotton

Woven from soft carded cotton yarns, with a special warp and weft mix designed to reproduce one of the most authentic, sought-after hand-woven fabrics of bygone days.

In the deFlorian family, Leopoldina comes exactly after Catrina, slightly thicker and denser.

Lovers of manual embroidery will certainly appreciate it, and modern designers too, as its versatility allows for countless variations of pieces. It's great for interior design creations (tablecloths, napkins, placemats, table runners, kitchen accessories), but also for clothing (structured shirts, wrap skirts, dresses and trousers), totes or sachets, photo sets and scenography design.

***Since the fabric is raw, a shrinkage of about 10% should be taken into account under light washing conditions at maximum 30°C and 600 rpm.
